Every morning you swing your feet out of bed you are driven by something or even someone. To be driven means to be guided, to be controlled or to be directed. Everyone’s life is driven by something.

Right now you may be driven by a problem, a pressure, or a deadline. You may be driven by a painful memory, a haunting fear, or an unconscious belief. There are hundreds of circumstances, values and emotions that can drive your life. Here are 5 of the most common ones;
1. Guilt
2. Resentment and Anger
3. Fear
4. Materialism
5. Approval

What is your driving force? What motivates you every day?
Each day should be lived ON PURPOSE, FOR A PURPOSE. Your purpose, your power and your passion should be your driving force. Living a purpose driven life! A life guided, controlled and directed by God’s purpose and not by guilt, Resentment and anger. Nothing can compensate for not knowing Gods purpose – not success, wealth, fame or pleasure. Without a purpose, life is motion without meaning, activity without direction, an event without reason. Without purpose life is pointless.

What is Purpose? Your purpose should give meaning to your life, it simplifies your life, it focuses your life and it motivates you. Without real purpose you have no foundation on which to base decisions. You tend to make choices based on circumstances, pressures and your mood at that moment. If you want your life to have impact, focus it! Without purpose, meaning, focus and motivation you will keep changing direction, jobs, relationships, hoping each change will settle the confusion or fill the emptiness in your heart. Purpose will give you a reason to swing your feet out of bed, to be excited about starting your day and doing something that positively impacts your world.

Purpose is that special something that YOU were created to do. It turns your ordinary into extraordinary. How do I find my purpose? A good place to start is with the One who created you. Let our lives be driven by our God given purposes and not by emotions and feelings that will only cause damage and hold us back.

Questions to Consider:
What wakes me up in the morning?
What motivates me to swing my feet out of bed?
Why am I here?
